ANDREAS KINDLER VON KNOBLOCH
(b. Spain, 1988) Moved to Ireland in 1996. BA in Sculpture from NCAD Dublin. Currently studying for an MFA in Applied Craft and Design in Portland, Oregon, USA. Knobloch's practice is focused on ideas of collectivity and myth making through the creation of rituals and installations, often referencing mini-Utopias and architectural spaces for wellbeing. Past projects have facilitated people to work together with the collective goal of transforming their environments. His most recent work focuses on exploring the relationships we build with the objects we use and depend on.
